AVX Aircraft’s Flying SUV is like a flying Hummer, that’s being developed for the US Army. Conceived by Texas-based start-up AVX Aircraft Corp., it seems to be one of their most advanced research projects for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It’s a Hummer with retractable wings, that can do everything a Hummer can do with the addition of Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) capability. It’s a four-seater, all-terrain vehicle that can travel 250 miles by land and air on a single tank of fuel. It can transform to flight mode in a mere 60 seconds. And mind you guys, this Hummer has a crusing speed equivalent to a light aircraft, like 140mph in the air, and features automated takeoff/landing flight control
